Bespoke event space in historic building

With three stunning event spaces to hire individually or in combination, we offer a unique setting for any event, large or small. The historic building, protected by English Heritage comes with an eclectic past which lives on through the unmatched and original architectural features of the space. 

 

 

Formerly known as the Old Riding School, it was built in 1892 as an indoor riding academy to serve the residents of the Nash Houses of Regent's Park, and went on to house elephants, giraffes and a brown bear named 'Spitfire', when nearby London Zoo was bombed in WW2. Saved from demolition in 1968, the building has been adapted into a flexible events space and state of the art hire studios, maintaining original features such as the cobbled horse ramp, cantilevered viewing gallery and William Morris tiled hallway.

 

2,700 sq ft double-height converted Victorian riding arena with a cast iron spiral staircase leading to the original viewing gallery and The Stables (Studio 3). A J-shaped infinity cove provides an ultra-flexible backdrop for projections, 3D mapping and large set builds. Ideal for many different types of event Studio 1 is highly flexible and has the capacity for up to 250 seated in a variety of configurations. Drive-in vehicle access, flexible rigging capabilities, full daylight/blackout options make Studio 1 an ultra-flexible space – perfect for product launches, fashion shows, brand conferences, screenings and parties. Use of large make-up room with two classic styling stations included oftenused as a break-out room, catering set-up or cloak-room for bigger events.

 

 

Studio 2- Contemporary flexible space suited to product launches, galleries and conferences. Also used as break-out room/ catering set-up when hiring the building exclusively. 

 

 

With its high-vaulted wooden beamed ceiling and elegant tiles, Studio 3 offers a pleasing contrast to the other spaces.
